Hollow Margin Clinic

Everyday healthcare, unhurried

Appointments with room to explain things properly.

Hollow Margin Clinic is a small general practice built around longer consultations and the same familiar clinicians each visit — so nothing important gets squeezed into the last two minutes.

  • Thirty-minute consultations
  • One clinician, start to finish
  • Notes you can keep

Our consulting rooms are quiet by design — no queues in the corridor, no overlapping appointments.

Our approach

Care that starts by listening to the whole story.

Most of what we see is ordinary: a cough that will not clear, a knee that aches on stairs, a result that needs explaining. What changes the outcome is having enough time to ask the second and third question, and a clinician who already knows your history.

So we schedule fewer appointments per day, keep you with the same practitioner wherever we can, and write our notes in plain language. If something falls outside our scope, we say so early and help you arrange the right referral rather than leaving you to work it out.

  • Time as treatment

Standard appointments run thirty minutes, with longer slots for first visits and complex reviews.

  • Continuity by default

You are matched to a clinician on your first visit and stay with them unless you ask otherwise.

  • Nothing left unexplained

Every plan is written down in everyday language, including what to do if things change.

What we look after

Six areas of everyday care, under one quiet roof.

01

General consultations

New symptoms, lingering ones, and the things you have been meaning to ask about for months.

02

Health reviews

A structured look at how you are doing overall, with screening appropriate to your age and history.

03

Long-term conditions

Ongoing support for conditions that need steady monitoring rather than one-off visits.

04

Minor procedures

Small in-clinic treatments and dressings, with aftercare instructions you leave holding.

05

Physiotherapy

Assessment and guided rehabilitation for joints, backs and sports strains, in-house.

06

Travel & vaccinations

Routine immunisations and a pre-travel consultation tailored to where you are going.

Your visit

Three steps, and you always know which one you are on.

  1. Send a request

Tell us briefly what is going on and when suits you. We reply with a confirmed time and the name of the clinician you will see.

  2. The appointment

Thirty unhurried minutes: history, examination, and a plan agreed together. Nothing is decided while you are halfway out the door.

  3. Afterwards

You leave with written notes and clear next steps. If results are pending, we tell you when and how you will hear about them.

Care team

A small team, so you are not starting over each visit.

    Physiotherapy

Assesses joint and back pain and builds rehabilitation plans you can actually fit around a working week.

Questions

Before you book.

Do I need a referral to be seen?
No. You can request an appointment with us directly. If you already have a referral letter, bring it along — it saves us both time.
What happens at a first appointment?
We allow extra time to go through your history properly, discuss what brought you in, and agree what to do next. Bring a list of any medicines you take, including ones you buy yourself.
Can I keep seeing the same clinician?
Yes — that is the point of how we schedule. You are matched to a clinician on your first visit and we keep you with them unless you would prefer a change or their list is genuinely full.
How do my records and results work?
Your notes are written in plain language and a copy is yours to keep after every visit. When results are pending we tell you the expected timing and how you will hear.
Is the clinic step-free?
All consulting rooms, the physiotherapy space and the washrooms are on one step-free level. Tell us in your request if you need a wider room, a hoist, an interpreter or extra time.
What if my concern is urgent?
Please do not use this page for urgent or emergency concerns — it is not monitored continuously. Contact your local emergency or urgent-care service instead, and let us know afterwards so we can follow up.

One short form — no account, no portal. We read every request and reply with a confirmed time and the name of the clinician you will be seeing.

Please keep clinical detail brief here and save the rest for the consultation. This form is not monitored continuously, so do not use it for urgent or emergency concerns.

We use your details only to arrange and follow up on this appointment.
